Jacob Whitt serves as the Youth Minister at Westside Church of Christ. He has been part of the Westside family since he was 14 years old and has served the congregation in a variety of roles since the age of 21. Jacob has a heart for helping young people develop a genuine faith, ask honest questions, and build a lasting relationship with Christ.

Jacob earned an Associate of Arts in Teaching from El Paso Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from The University of Texas at El Paso. He is currently furthering his education by pursuing a Bachelor of Biblical Studies through the Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI). His educational background, combined with his passion for ministry, has shaped his desire to invest in the spiritual and personal growth of others.

Outside of ministry, Jacob enjoys fitness, skateboarding, and playing video games. A former professional freestyle skateboarder, he has competed in numerous contests and performed in shows across the United States and internationally. He has also shared his story through motivational speaking at schools and community events throughout the years. He enjoys using those experiences to connect with others and point people toward perseverance, purpose, and faith.

Jacob is passionate about teaching Scripture in a way that is easy to understand, relevant to everyday life, and challenges people to examine their hearts as they grow closer to God.
