In the rack on the back of the pew ahead of you
there will be a hymnal for your use. When a song
number is announced or displayed on the
projection screen you can turn to that number in
the hymnal to find the words and music. Or you
can simply follow the music and words as they
are projected on the screen. One of the unique
things about Westside is that our music is "a
cappella." That simply means that we sing
without the accompaniment of musical
instruments. We want to worship God just like
the earliest Christians. The New Testament never
mentions instrumental music and we believe it is
best for all Christians to sing*. Since every
person has the ability to sing, a cappella music
allows every person to participate in praise to
God. Please join us in praising God through
song.
